Crime indeed does not pay. Recall the story of daredevil robbers that carted away money in sacks from several banks in Uromi, Edo state on Thursday, 24th February, 2022, things didn’t turn out as expected for them.
Youths of Ubiaja town were able to block Ubiaja Road by the rail line. This forced the robbers to abandon their loot and vehicles by the rail line and fled on motorcycles.
The vehicles and cash have been recovered. An arrest has also been made while security agencies are on the trail of the others.
