Before Soludo Begins Work in Okpoko
I spent two hours today trekking through people’s backyards, peeing into squalid compounds, jumping through shallow smelly drainages, taking discreet pictures and interviewing willing residents of Okpoko slum.
The idea is to get one last feel of the slum and life in it, before Prof. Chukwuma Soludo appears on the scene and transforms her to the liveable city he promised.
