The Traditional ruler of Enugwu-Ukwu, His Majesty, Igwe Sir RO Ekpeh has formally declared the passing away of a member of his cabinet, Late Ozonkpu Martins Agbakwu , Onwenukoaku Enugwu-Ukwu na Umunri.
The Mini-event, held at the residence of Late Chief Agbakwu to mark the departure of the Octogenarian is an age-old tradition of Umunri clan which must be done before the demise would be publicized.
His Majesty, who also signed the condolence register was accompanied by the President General of Enugwu-Ukwu town, Comrade Bonny Ozo Nkwuaku and some members of his cabinet.
Speaking through the Deputy Traditional Prime Minister of Enugwu-Ukwu, Chief Sir Clems Nwafor, His Majesty referred to Late Chief Agbakwu as a man who dedicated his life in the service of humanity. He prayed that his soul will find peace in the Lord. This is just as he sympathized with the family. His Majesty also called on the family to be mindful not to breach any part of Enugwu-Ukwu burial law while they grants their father a befitting burial.
Onye Isi Ozo, Oke Ichie RC Okafor, Omambala Enugwu-Ukwu na Umunri, who received Eze Enugwu-Ukwu and his entourage on behalf of the family thanked his majesty for finding it worthy to visit the family..
Late Chief Agbakwu, until his death was a member of Enugwu-Ukwu traditional council and cabinet, a member of the prestigious Enugwu-Ukwu Ozo Society, Enugwu-Ukwu Friendship Association and a patron of ECDU, Enugu Branch.
