The suspects: Ifeanyi Nsiegbunam ‘M’ 23years, Chinemelum Nwafor ‘M’ 27years, Nnamdi Nwakwesili ‘M’ 40yrs, were alleged to have on 05/03/2022 at about 10am, dispossessed a student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, of her belongings.
Incriminating items found and recovered from the suspects include: one locally made single barrel pistol, a white coloured dagger, a big saw, a big hammer, a black and brown coloured lady’s bag, an Infinix phone, a black Panasonic phone and three(3) phone chargers.
The CP who was full of thanks to the public for the arrest of the three suspects and for their continuous assistance to the Police in the fight against crimes in the State, however, enjoined them to always follow due process by handing over arrested suspects to the Police. Meanwhile, the CP assures that the three rescued suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.
