A leaked Plateau state government memo has once more drawn attention to high cost of governance in Nigeria.
The memo which originated from the office of the Secretary to the Plateau state government to the Governor, is seeking approval for the sum of N73, 686,340.00 for the Governor, his wife and some aides to attend an investment summit in Dubai, and afterwards proceed to America for some days.
Imagine the number of times a state governor and his aides will undertake such trips during his tenure.
The question is, what is the value of such trips to the tax payer?
