IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is already in court, today, Friday, 8th April, 2022, for the commencement of his alleged terrorism trial.
Looking hale and hearty, but still wearing the same Fendi clothes which the trial Judge had previously ordered the DSS to allow him a change of clothes, Mazi Kanu is flanked by his brother Prince Emmanuel Kanu in the picture.
Meanwhile, in several cities monitored across the South East, many people have chosen to stay at home. Markets and shops remained locked, while vehicular movements have been scanty as is usually the case whenever Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has a court appearance.
While the Governors of the South East states have tried severally to encourage the people to go about their business during such days, especially during the Monday sit-at-home, it appears the people have chosen to thread cautiously, as some who had ventured in the past have had either their vehicles destroyed, goods burnt or even paid with their lives, at the hands of enforcing IPOB militants.
