A group of masquerades in Oruk Anam, Akwa Ibom State, reportedly disrupted the funeral of one of their deceased members, as the funeral service was being conducted by a Christian Church, demanding that they be allowed to carry out their rituals.
The masquerades took over the corpse when it was to be interred to mother earth, claiming the deceased was their member and not a Christian.
