The Katsina home of Hajia Aya Dada Yar’Adua, the mother of Shehu and Umaru Yar’Adua, is becoming a political mecca in Nigeria. Every presidential wannabe must now make a pilgrimage to it.
But this woman is almost 100 years old. Why won’t these crooked politicians just leave her alone? They remember her only because it’s election time.
This is such a shamelessly opportunistic political exploitation of the Yar’Adua family name.
