A Nigerian diaspora by name Uba Acho has taken to his Facebook page to call for the release of Nollywood actor, known as King Zealot, who was recently arrested and paraded by Imo Police Command, as part of ‘Unknown Gunmen’. He wrote:
“Who’s Next?
His name is Hycent Azunna Zealot, a music artist, actor and rising Nollywood actor. He was arrested and paraded as part of “Unknown Gunmen” and ESN member in Imo state.
There has been calls from members of the society and the community that this guy is innocent of all charges and accusations and should be freed unconditionally immediately.
I’m lending my voice because tomorrow you could see me in handcuffs and boxer shorts paraded as ESN commander or unknown gunman, and that’s the fate of every young Igbo man or boy.
Many innocent young Igbo men and boys have been brutally murdered by the military and police under the pretext of “Unknown Gunmen” and alleged ESN member, while you cheered the military on. Many more are languishing in DSS/Police/Military dungeons.
Visit his Facebook page to see some of his works @King Zealot.
Hey! Don’t speak out, I’m not begging you to, but you might see yourself, your brother or relative, or your son here sooner or later, because whatever goes around always comes back around”.
