This probably may be referred to a case of David slaying Goliath, as Honourable Emeka Igwe has defeated Hon. Sam Onwuasor in the PDP primaries for Awka North and South Federal Constituency.
Hon. Onwuasor is currently in the Federal House of Representatives representing Awka North and South, while Hon. Igwe was the PDP candidate for Awka South 1 House of Assembly elections in 2017. He lost to Hon. Nnamdi Okafor of APGA in that election.
