Former governor of Imo State and Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District in the 9th Assembly, Senator Rochas Okorocha has been granted bail by the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday 31st May, 2022.
The Judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo ordered that the Senator deposit his international passport and will not travel outside the jurisdiction of the court without notice or permission of the court.
Senator Okorocha who was granted bail in the sum of fifty million naira and a surety in like sum, and surety must be a responsible citizen with landed property in like sum within the jurisdiction of the court.
The Senator will remain in EFCC custody pending when his bail conditions are fully met and the Senator is expected to participate in the ongoing APC presidential aspirants screening.
