The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), for the 2023 Awka North and South Federal Constituency elections, Hon. Obi Nwankwo has expressed shock over the death of Hon. Innocent Chukwuka, who until his death was a staunch member of APGA in Ebenebe Ward 1, Awka North LGA, Anambra state.
According to Hon. Nwankwo, “Hon. Innocent Chukwuka was my political ally. He was very dedicated, passionate and committed to the Obi Nwankwo Awka North and South Federal Constituency Campaign project. We just came out of our party primaries and we both rejoiced, alongside our teeming supporters at our victory made possible by God. I was looking forward to hitting the campaign trail with him and others when INEC lifts the ban on electioneering, only to hear this terrible news”.
Continuing, Hon. Nwankwo said, “Our party APGA has lost a big stakeholder. I sympathise with the Chukwuka family, Ndi Ebenebe and Ndi Awka North. I pray for the repose of his soul, through our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen”.
