Nigeria Super Eagles player and Leganés defender Kenneth Omeruo has on Thursday 2nd June, 2022 presented a signed ball and jersey to President Muhammadu Buhari in Spain.
President Buhari who is on “A State” visit to Spain at the invitation of Spanish President, Pedro Sanchez is expected to sign many bilateral agreements during the three-day state visit to Spain.
In a meeting with representatives of Nigeria community in Spain, the Super Eagles defender used the opportunity to present to President Buhari a signed No 1 jersey and a football, along side, Mr. Sunday Dare, Nigeria’s Sports Minister.
Omeruo who happens to be one of Nigeria’s most senior players currently in the Super Eagles team, winning the 2013 African Cup of Nations with the team and haven played two World Cups did the presentation on behalf of the sports community in Spain.
