As the world marks World Environment Day, today, Sunday, 5th June, 2022, Anambra state Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, was joined by his wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo to
mark the occasion, and flag-off
the one million trees planting exercise in the state.
The symbolic tree planting exercise took place at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, which had in attendance the Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Felix Odimegwu and other government officials.
The theme of this year’s World Environment Day is ‘Only One Earth’.
