The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for Awka North and South Federal Constituency in the 2023 elections, Hon. Obi Nwankwo has once again expressed his appreciation to party delegates that voted him as the candidate to fly the party’s flag.
Honourable Nwankwo spoke to the media in Abuja, shortly after receiving his certificate of return at the party’s headquarters.
“I have received my certificate of return, which officially makes me our great party’s candidate for the Awka North and South Federal Constituency House of Representatives election in 2023”.
“I wish to once again appreciate the delegates that voted for me, my brother aspirants and the leadership of our great party. I have had time to meet with, and also interact on the phone with some of our leaders and teeming supporters. I am overwhelmed by the show of solidarity and support. That gives me confidence of our party winning when the elections hold in 2023”.
Continuing, Hon. Nwankwo said;
“I am also calling on all to rally round our party as we go into the main elections. As we wait for INEC to lift the ban on campaigning, I am looking forward with my campaign team, to touring once again our various wards in Awka North and South Federal Constituency, to meet and interact with our people and to bring to their doorsteps my message of shared prosperity, development, care for the elderly, women and children etc”, he concluded.
