The All Progressives Grand Alliance flag bearer for for Awka North and South Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Obi Nwankwo has called on eligible voters in the constituency to ensure full participation in the ongoing continuous voter registration exercise in the country.
Hon. Nwankwo made the call while speaking to newsmen over the weekend.
Hon. Nwankwo who praised the perseverance of his constituents in ensuring full participation come 2023 general elections, reminded the electorate that their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) are the only instrument they can use in voting in credible leaders.
The former Commissioner for Environment in Anambra state, while asking the people to be patient with the process and obtain their PVC, stated that leadership positions require attributes such as experience, education and exposure.
He called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to increase the number of personnel participating in the ongoing registration exercise in order to meet up with the time frame for the registration.
The APGA flag bearer, thanked traditional rulers, religious leaders and community stakeholders for encouraging the people to exercise their civic rights.
