Six Years After Sadio Mané Closes In On Bayern Move

Senegalese forward Sadio Mané is set to leave Anfield after six years to join German Champions Bayern Munich for a fee around £35 million.

The Liverpool forward is set to join Bayern Munich after the German champions reached a £35m agreement with Liverpool; with sporting Director Hasan Salihamidzic confirming the forward is on his way to the Bundesliga champions.

Mané, 30, has announced before Liverpool’s Champions League Finals that he would be heading to a new destination after six years with Liverpool.

The 30-year-old will be a suitable replacement for Bayern’s Poland striker, Robert Lewandowski, who has repeatedly said he wants to leave Bayern Munich and has been linked to Barcelona.

The forward who made 269 appearances for the Merseyside club scoring 120 goals and winning the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup will be leaving the club a fulfilled player six years after and having played crucial roles in the clubs success story.
