Anambra state Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo today, Thursday, 23rd June, 2022, commissioned the rehabilitated 500-meter Amansea -Ugwuoba old road.
The Governor said the road was built from one month savings from facility management account.
The facility management account houses money meant for the maintenance of government offices.

Prior to the assumption of the Soludo administration, facility management cost was placed at 137million Naira monthly. Currently, it has been cutdown to 11million Naira, leaving the Government with 126million Naira in savings. According to Governor Soludo, the money has been deployed for the rehabilitation of failed roads in parts of the State using direct labour.

The Amansea-Ugwuoba road is part of the failed portion of the road leading to Enugu from Anambra where motorists and commuters spent hours before today.
