Ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, President Muhammadu Buhari has landed Daura, Katsina State to mark this year’s Sallah celebration.
Recall, last weeke Tuesday, it was reported that armed bandits attacked the advance team of Mr. President on their way to Daura ahead of this weekends Sallah celebration. That did not deter the President of still traveling home to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebration with his kinsmen in Daura.
President Buhari was received by Governor Aminu Bello Masari (Governor Katsina State) and other top government functionaries at Umar Musa Yar’Adua airport Katsina State.
Mr. President is expected back in Abuja Thursday 14thJuly, 2022 after the short Eid-el-Kabir Sallah Holiday.
