10 years ago, I left Nigeria for the America. Today, I had wanted to write an epistle, detailing some happenings and lessons learned.
However, body and brain are both tired right now. Hopefully, I get to write those things here very soon.
One piece of advice on those on the ‘japa’ train, “When you get to your destination, focus your focus on the opportunities in your new home”. Excel where you are based, build up your life and enjoy. We can always go back home when Nigeria better.
One key mistake I made initially, was building all my plans around moving back to Nigeria within 4 years. As a result, my mind couldn’t see things here beyond the surface, neither was I in Nigeria to implement the visions I had.
