On the 27th of July, 2022, Enugwu-Ukwu celebrated their Ikpo-ji festival. It was an event that attracted the cream of Igbo society and a good measure of Umunri communities. Prominent among the Special Guests at the event is Dr.Ramas Okoye Asuzu who stormed the Enugwu-Ukwu Civic Center (venue of the event) decked in a majestic flowing attire and an ofo scepter which aptly depicts his status as the Akajiofo Ndigbo Gburugburu and the crowned Custodian of Igbo Culture and Tradition. The event which was an elaborate display of the rich cultural heritage of the Umunri linage was celebrated in an elevated style full of pomp and pegentary.
