“It has been a joyful week as Ndi Igbo and Nigerians from all walks of life, gathered in Owerri to celebrate Ahaejiejemba Ndi Igbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu CFR, on his 80th Birthday.
It is only natural that the week-long celebration is peaking with a Thanksgiving Service at the historic Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL), which Chief Iwuanyanwu was pivotal to its building.
In my speech after the Thanksgiving Service, I highlighted the numerous inputs of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, to the growth of Ndi Igbo and national unity during his active days in politics. Many of which are of tremendous economic importance to Ndi Imo, Ndi Igbo and Nigeria at large such as the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri.
Today, Ahaejiejemba Ndi Igbo is being celebrated having attained the age of 80 and staying strong and sound. This can only be a blessing from God and the goodwill he has garnered for himself over the years.
His wealth of experience, wisdom and fatherly love are highly valued and cherished. I therefore, pray for God’s continous blessings and longevity upon Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu CFR.
