To understudy traffic management strategy of one of Nigeria’s most effective traffic agencies, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency, ARTMA, Engineer Emeka Okonkwo, has paid an official visit to the General Manager of Lagos State Traffic Management Agency, LASTMA, Mr. Bolaji Oreagba, in Lagos.
Addressing the LASTMA boss after taking a tour of LASTMA facility, Engineer Okonkwo, who was recently appointed to head the agency by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, said it was necessary to obtain all the necessary details from counterpart organizations, with a view to incorporating all workable policies in solving traffic situations in Anambra State.
He said the visit was timely, considering the achievements of Mr Oreagba in Lagos State’s traffic history.
Welcoming the ARTMA boss, Mr Oreagba commended the Governor Soludo for engaging the youths in his administration, stressing that such moves are important for the development drive of his administration.
He took time to explain the operations of the agency, and promised to continue to support ARTMA to see it achieve greater heights.
