The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, says it has arrested a total of eighteen migrants in possession of Permanent Voters Cards, PVC, and scheming to participate in the 2023 general elections in the state.
The Comptroller, NIS, Oyo State Command, Comptroller Issa Dansuleiman, who disclosed this in a press briefing with newsmen in his office, said the command in the state swung into action, which led to the apprehension of eighteen migrants found with the voter’s cards.
He said the migrants, having violated the law of the land, were repatriated to their countries of origin.
