Emergency officials are still searching for a lady who dived into the Lagos lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge on Thursday, 10th November, 2022.
A statement from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) reports that the lady in her late thirties got down from an e-hailing car on the bridge and “plunged into the lagoon.”
The driver of the vehicle said the victim had a “heated conversation” with her fiance before alighting from the car.
Officials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, the Lagos State Waterways Authority, and the Department of State Services were searching for the victim Thursday afternoon.
