They made waves in Africa and acquired a legendary status. They were fit and handsome and were the toast of both male and female friends. But age, that inevitable leveller, has caught up with them. Actor Yul Edochie has responded to the House of Representatives claims that Nollywood is partly to be blamed for the increase in the rate of ritual killings across the country. During the plenary on Wednesday, the House of Representatives called for the declaration of a state of emergency on ritual killings in the country and partly blamed the menace on the Nollywood industry and tasked all stakeholders to begin a national campaign to change the orientation of the people towards the crime.
